Windsurfing Wednesday

2014 in pictures (5 of 9)Windsurf Wednesdays are designed to get you out regularly to improve the skills that you have learned so far. The basic outline is that it costs the same as hire for the session but there is an instructor present to help you tweak and polish the skills you have learned, and to set tasks that will accelerate your learning to maximise your progression.

The sessions are designed for anyone who has done their RYA Start Windsurfing Course, or RYA Youth Windsurfing Stage 2 course. We have a wide range of beginner and intermediate windsurfing kit available to hire, so we can kit you out for the conditions and your personal windsurfing ability.

It’s great seeing the same faces down for windsurfing Wednesday every week, and the session has a really great club vibe.RYA-Powerboat-Level-2-and-Windsurfing-Converter-Day-1-of-1

We can provide wetsuits, buoyancy aids and splash tops, so you should be fully kitted out on the water. We ask that you bring some footwear that you don’t mind getting wet as well as some for wearing after you have changed. Also bring a towel, and some warm clothes for when we come off the water. Also a coat can be a good idea if it is cold and some suncream if the sun is out, as believe it or not it can get hot enough to burn here in Wales! We have excellent changing and shower facilities on site at Porth Eirias, there are also lockers that accept a £1 coin (and even give it back afterwards)
